Veteran tattoo artist Carlos Truan is a legend who calls East Austin home. For this local treasure and his crew, we definitely wanted to make a statement. Using gold leaf on their two glass front doors, everyone who crosses that threshold receives a warm welcome. The final product is 23k gold leaf water gild done in reverse on glass, using a color gradient to fill the letterforms.
