Manning Signs had the honor of helping Austin FC make some permanent marks on the walls of Q2 Stadium in 2023!
As the team has settled into their new home, the temporary signage used for the opening of the stadium in 2021 was beginning to fade and deteriorate. Working closely with the AFC creative team and using their signature verde, we designed a stadium-sized tribute to Austin’s first major professional sports league that will last for many, many years.
The design combines official AFC branding, original artwork, and third party brand sponsorships into one cohesive mural that covers the interior southeast corner of the stadium (it’s the first thing the players see as they enter the field). It’s also a subtle nod to our Historic 6th Street Mural, which has become an Austin icon.
