23K Gold Leaf on Glass & Surface Gilds

Manning Signs took a trip to Paris, TX to actualize branding crafted by Keith Davis Young for the new Texan/French restaurant BonFire. Paris has come a long way and BonFire positions itself to look forward while honoring the roots of the city. In a tribute to the historic 1916 Paris Fire, the main entrance sign glows with a phoenix rising from the flames, completed in our Austin studio with 23k surface gild.

The symmetry of the French and Texan flags, both classic tricolors, are a touchstone of Keith’s timeless design. Throughout the storefront treatment we used 23k gold leaf to highlight the design. On site, we completed the gold leaf surface gild on the exterior fabricated signs, and the front door and windows were finished with both a glass gilded logo and enticements.
